Anne Celeste Heche was an American actress well-known for her roles across a range of types of film, television, and theatre. Her achievements include an Daytime Emmy Award and a National Board of Review Award. Anne Celeste Heche, born on May 25, 1969, in New York City and passed away on August 11, 2022. She was an American actor. Her debut role was that of twins Vicky Hudson & Marley Love in the soap series Another World from 1987-1991. She won the Daytime Emmy Award & two Soap Opera Digest Awards. Her fame grew in the latter part of 1990 with her roles in the crime-drama film Donnie Brasco (1997) the disaster film Volcano (1997) Volcano (1997) and the horror film I Know What You Did the slasher film I Know What You Did Summer (1997) The political satire film Wag the Dog (1997) the action-comedy films Six Days Seven Nights (1998) and the thriller drama Return to Paradise (1998). Anne Lockhart (born Anne Kathleen Maloney June 6, 1953) is an American actress. She is famous for her role as Lieutenant Sheba in the series 1978-1979 television show Battlestar Galactica. Her parents are the grandmother and daughter of actor Gene Lockhart, as well as actress June Lockhart. Lockhart was a professional from the age of four. The first time she appeared on screen was at age four when she appeared on T is for Tumbleweed. It was nominated as an Oscar Award for the brief subject film. Her mother brought her to a studio to learn about how the film industry worked. Lockhart appeared in many seasons of Lassie. Her first movie included Dora in Jory in 1972. She played Joan Crawford's daughter in The Sixth Sense, a television series from 1972. Joan Crawford's last role on stage. There is a popular belief that Anne turned down the role as Laurie Strode in John Carpenter's 1978 thriller Halloween which was later recast for Jaime Lee Curtis. Carpenter has claimed that she was interested but she turned it down. Anne has no memory of being invited from John Carpenter or being offered the part. Maybe one of her agents declined the role on her behalf, and without telling the actress. Her first choice was Glen Larson who sent her a very preliminary script for to play a part in the 1978 TV series Battlestar Galactica. Her initial rejection was because the character was not that strong. Glen created the role with a more powerful character, Sheba. After she read the first 25 pages from the script The Living Legend she accepted the part immediately. The movie lasted only one season. She starred with Desi Arnaz Jr. (son of Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball) Melanie Griffith and Robert Carradine in the film Joyride (1977) and co-starred alongside Michael Moriarty in the horror film The Dark Tower (1987).
