Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe, a British-Nigerian mixed race child, was born to an ethnically diverse family from South London. Her mother and father are both English. Her family was raised in a south London community estate, where she attended The Brit School at age 14. In London she attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art where her acting degree was earned. While at the academy, she appeared in a number of stage productions such as King Henry V playing Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights portraying Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe's acting journey began in the series Storm Damage. In the following years, she appeared on Teachers, Doctors Casualty and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's film debut was in Woody Allen's Cassandra's Dream (2007), opposite Colin Farrell. Following that success her role was Elisha in the one-off BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN as well as appearing in six episodes of Trexx and Flipside in the role of Ollie. The year 2008 saw her was offered the part in the role of Bambi on the ITV2 Drama series Secret Diary of a Call Girl which aired in three and two series. Madekwe made an appearance in the comedy film How to Lose Friends & Get People to Leave. Her theatre credits includes Little Sweet Thing or Roy Williams and Flight Path of David Watson.
Madekwe's US debut came in 2009 with The drama The Beautiful Life. The series aired only two episodes before being ended on The CW. In February, she was cast 2011 as Ashley Davenport on the ABC drama Revenge. Madekwe's departure from the series was officially announced in May of 2013. Following two seasons as the main character she appeared as a guest in the first episode of season three. The actress portrayed Tituba on the show Salem from 2014 until 2016. Madekwe, along with her boyfriend for many years, Iddo Goldenberg, were wed in June of 2012. Both of them have been in Secret Diary of a Call Girl. They also starred as partners in Salem.

Ashley Leggat, a twice Gemini nominated actress, was raised in a huge family in Hamilton, Ontario. Her four older brothers were present as well and included twins Todd & Bram, Brett & Rob. Ashley was raised in the arenas and baseball fields because her brothers, who were all athletic, played baseball, hockey, as well as both during summer and winter. Ashley did not have the ability to walk, however she did dance. At the age of two, she took up Baby Ballet and fell in love. It was then that she discovered Ashley's passion for dance. Ashley was a top competitor in divisions for jazz, tap hip-hop, ballet Acrobatics, Lyrical Musical Theatre and pointe, until she finished high school. Ashley took home the best soloist prize at each major dance event, such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance among some.
